The Colorado Real Estate Market Is Primed for Buyers

The stars are aligning in the Colorado housing market, making it a great time to buy a home. According to Megan Aller, our real estate data analyst guru with First American Title, the market has not been this primed for home buyers since 2013. With increased inventory, homes staying on the market longer, and less buyer competition, sellers are ready to make a deal, which means a willingness to negotiate for more seller concessions and workable terms in the agreement.

Anyone on the fence about buying a new home should take advantage of the current real estate market and begin with these first steps:

  1. Find a dependable lender and get pre-approved for a home loan.

  2. Ask your lender about rate buydowns. Don't wait for interest rates to drop.

  3. Sign a representation agreement with a trusted agent. Under the National Association of Realtors' new rules, a signed contract is required before viewing any listed homes.

It is an exciting time in real estate! If you have questions about buying or selling a home, please don't hesitate to contact Chadwick V.R. Williams at Denver Real Estate Professionals. Let's talk about your future!
